ACUPUNCTURE

Acupuncture is a world renowned medicine for pain and stress relief.  A lot of my Beaverton and Portland patients, from professional athletes to lawyers, are referred to me by MDs who respect the ancient power of acupuncture.

Acupuncture works by stimulating the body's ability to heal itself.  Very thin, single-use, sterile needles are placed at precise locations on the body. They have been determined over thousands of years by seeing what creates results.

The needles are left in place for enough time to initiate a healing response through the nervous system.  As the body and brain interact with the needles, inflammation decreases, nerve impulses return to normal, blood flow is restored, and pain is relieved.

ABOUT ME

About me

Michael Balogh.jpg

I live in Beaverton, OR with my wife and family.

After acupuncture helped me overcome chronic back pain, I knew first hand how transformative the right medicine can be.  I have studied many healing modalities but nothing compares to acupuncture.

I want to help as many people as possible using acupuncture and Chinese medicine in the Beaverton, Hillsboro, Tigard, and Portland area.

I am trained in many styles of acupuncture and systems of healing.
